STATEMENT OF PURPOSE (SOP)

SOP is a written document for submission to Admission Committee that helps them assess your take on life, career goals, subject knowledge, beliefs, etc. It also discusses your career path, interests, professional contributions, and the driving force behind pursuing a particular program.

Students can highlight their learning and achievements in a structured way while submitting a Statement of Purpose to the University abroad. Some universities demand Admission Essays in place of a Statement of Purpose. Essays are generally required for pursuing a specific course like MBA.

SOP is an integral program for your application to any Graduate School or University abroad. The admission team wants to know your purpose in taking the program and the opportunities you wish to explore as your career path and goals. This helps them choose the right candidate for the courses offered by them.

At PIOUS, we can assist you to draft and finalize SOP aligning your interests, reasons for study abroad based on your personal, academic, and financial background with the requirement of universities abroad. We can follow-ups with the college for Offer Letter on your behalf.

LETTER OF RECOMMENDATION (LOR)

The LOR is a document submitted by students to the Admission Officer as a part of their application process. LOR comprises a comprehensive insight into a student’s character, accomplishments, abilities, experience, contribution, skills, or any other information that issuing faculty likes to mention. LOR states the reason that led you to apply for a course or in a University Abroad

Two types of popular LORs

Academic LOR: In most cases, this category of LOR is provided by a faculty member of your previous institute. These are more relevant to MS Colleges Admission or Bachelor Courses abroad.

Professional LOR:  These are more relevant for admission to MBA colleges abroad. These LORs require mentioning nature, duration, quality of work experience, and candidates’ achievements from their immediate supervisor.

At PIOUS, our team of specialists can explain to you the requirements and content of LOR along with various options of jobs and study abroad as per your profile.

RESUME

A resume is a document to present an individual’s background and skills. A resume can be used for a variety of reasons like to secure admission into a College or University, to submit one’s candidature highlighting educational background, working experience, etc. The resume is typically one of the first items which are used to screen applicants, sometimes followed by an interview, when seeking admission.

Students can briefly cover and summarise their personal details, family background, academic qualifications, work experience, professional qualifications, technical and IT skills, etc.  A well-drafted resume with good presentation helps admission officer or employers to assess the abilities and achievements of candidates which help to move the student in the next round of discussion and selection process.

We can help students and job-seekers to write and present their resumes in the best possible manner.

OFFER LETTER

An offer letter is a letter of acceptance issued by the University or College where you have applied for admission.  In response to the application and documents submitted by you, the University or College will issue you either a Conditional or Unconditional Offer Letter inviting you to move forward and contact them to complete admission formalities.

Two types of Offer Letters

An Unconditional Offer letter is normally treated as a Confirmed Admission Letter subject to the deposit of the Tuition Fee before the due date mentioned in the Offer Letter.

A conditional Offer Letter is an acceptance in principle but subjects to fulfillment of certain requirements mentioned in the Letter.  For example,  Offer Letter can state that Offer Letter is valid on the achievement of a minimum IELTS/TOEFL score where the candidate still to appear or the result is awaited.  These offers are made by various Universities and colleges in case of awaited academic results of the applicants.
