Test Of English As a Foreign Language (TOEFL) has been designed to measure the English Language proficiency of applicants. The Test is owned and administered by Educational Testing System (ETS). It covers and measures students’ abilities in all 4 areas including Reading, Speaking, Writing, and Listening skills. TOEFL Score is accepted in almost all the English speaking countries like the USA, Germany, France, Australia, UK, Europe, etc. to evaluate the students applying to colleges, jobs, and other purposes
This exam has two variants – IBT (Internet-based Test) and PBT (Paper-based Test). What should be a good score from TOEFL Test will depend more upon University cut-off requirement. However, the higher its score, the more students’ success chances are there. Out of 120, a score of around 100 is considered suitable for applicants.
No age limit has been defined for appearing in the test. However, going by objective and benefits from the test, a minimum 10th pass qualification is required. Regarding documents, students need to carry a passport along to show it as proof of identification.
Requirements of TOEFL
Universities, Colleges, and Educational Institutions based in the USA or Canada require TOEFL before giving admission after passing high school exams.
Its score is required by students willing to study abroad.
